Last Stop Coney Island... is an independent feature documentary about the extraordinary life and work of the American photographer Harold Feinstein.

A master of black and white street photography, Harold's career spanned six decades from the 1940s to the 2000's.  However after early prominence in the nascent New York photo scene and his work being acquired by Edward Steichen for MOMA, Feinstein turned away from the limelight and was all but forgotten...until now.

A true artist with a unique and inspiring philosophy on life, Harold finally began to see the recognition he deserved towards the end of his years.  That's where the film finds him before re-tracing his story through the lens of his diverse body of work, much of which has never been seen before

This authorised and definitive film tells the story of the man behind the pictures and celebrates his life-affirming, humanistic appreciation for the beauty he saw in the people and the world around him.
